Alex, a most gorgeous piece. I must admit that I did see this on

The Club and two other sites, but wanted to respond to you first on THL. I love this piece. It took me few days to get used to the original version in pg but since then this is one of my favorite VC's. Also cannot wait to see in the flesh pictures. I have one pertinent question for you: Besides being a beautiful timepiece and a collectible and a worthy line up in VC, is an important reason to make a CEP of an already ultra expensive piece to raise capital enabling VC to have financial independence / liquidity to work to on its own R & D Such as the next in house chronograph, split seconds chrono, future in house movements, facilities etc. etc..? While I do not know how much it costs VC To make one of these, I m guessing they will bring in approx 17-20 usd million for the entire 50 run, which is a lot for a short run. I think one other top brand makes 10000-15000 run of ladies quart timepieces to fund their R & D, based on something I read somewhere.
I have to agree, this watch in white metal is to die for!

I can't wait to see it in the metal, but these pictures just make one drool.  A true dream watch.
This is the ultimate tourby watch

When I first saw the release yesterday, it was love at first sight. This watch is a completely different personality dressed in all platinum. Money aside, this is a piece to die for. I am very fortunate to own the 47212 and 43150. But boy, this one just makes the heart beat. I would really like to just have the chance to hold it and strap it on. I really want to see the finishing in person. There are going to be fifty very fortunate collectors. Best, Joe
Love. Lust. Longing.

Thank you, Alex, It's quite a stunning piece, traditional and contemporary at the same time. Simple staightforward layout concealing an inner complexity. A real masterpiece especially in PT with that scintered dial. Joseph
Stunning, simply beautiful! (nt)
