Patrimony Ultra-Thin Calibre 1731 minute repeater

I was in the Tokyo boutique today and got my hands on the Patrimony Ultra-Thin Calibre 1731 minute repeater and it was absolutely stunning.  Thought I would share with the group here.

BTW you can insert multiple photos in one post :-)

I was trying to add the link to the video but it didn't seem to be working for me for some reason.  You can hear the beautiful chime here on Youtube:

I miss to hear it. But is it just me but I find the dial a bit off balance.

Apparently, because of the ultra-thin movement, there were only two places to put the second hand, at 6 o'clock or 8 o'clock and they decided to put it at 8 in order to differentiate from the other Patrimony models.

I actually find a little assymetry part of the charm.

You will notice the axis/center of small seconds dial is lined up exactly between the end of the repeating mechanism's lever and the axis/center of the hour and minute hands.  It creates a "continuity" that is a very small detail, but aestheically pleasing to me when I look at it more and more.

This is the type of detail that I love so much about VCs.

Thanks. I, for one, love the dial. Thanks for the video sharing the sound.
