Is that a new slogan for Vacheron Constantin, or has it been in use and I have just missed it?
These are lovely photos. Thank you for posting them. I am beginning to warm to the new Dual Time (thus far my least favorite novelty). But that Harmony Chronograph is
simply amazing inside and out.
I would assume that this is a new slogan, I have never heard it before, nor is there any documentation out there. But there may be some people on here who may enlighten us...
I would assume that this slogan was just created.
Another reason why I believe this is that the Richemont Groupe just registered a protected brandname of "Manufacturer of Eternity" in Switzerland:
I like the slogan.
I wish I could have made it to SIHH. Thank you for the pictures. As for the slogan, it is a very apt one for the Maison. It has some depth, given eternity is a measurement of time - and a very long time. It seems to feel right with Vacheron's history and with their present as well. I am sure that the marketing folks at Richemont tought of it because of Alex's "Favorite Quote". If that is true, thankfully they used Alex's for inspiration. After all, "Vacheron Constantin, when you've no time Toulouse" would not have had the same gravitas.
Really nice shot of the Harmony chrono.
I'm with you guys on the new slogan, I really like it - Eternity summarises well what VC stands for...
Re the dual time model, I think that it works better as a lady's than a man's watch...
