Playing with a new, cheap, toy

I just got one of these microscopes that connect to a computer that can take pictures and videos.  Here are some first "macro" shots from a CR PW taken in less than 2 minutes after plugging it into a PC (I'm sure the quality can improve with time and practice, but not too bad for instant macros?):

The ever romantic, and beautiful, black polished, swan's neck regulator

The bi-metallic balance, escape wheel and pallets

The depth of field is quite good! How about a link for the boys (and girls) to check out a new toy?  cheeky Joseph

Thanks Joseph! I know there are many digital microscopes out there and at various price ranges.  The one I got is this: http://plugable.com/products/usb2-micro-200x
  • Optical Zoom from 1x to 50x
  • Digital Zoom up to 200x
  • 8 LEDs with dimmer for fine tuning illumination
The company customer service is supposed to be pretty good, though I have yet needed to contact them. BR, Dan
Thanks, Dan,

saying: Do NOT use on watches that do not have a Geneva Seal! As when owners of such watches see the finishing under a microscope they dent to throw their watches out of windows, hit walls, etc....devil
Wow! very nice!
