I am an idiot. The rest of the close-up pics are blowing up on me when I try to upload. I need to figure it out. Sorry.
Take my word for it, it looks a lot better in person than these shitty photos.
beautiful modern tourbillon. May it tick only happy moments
Hi Alex, the list was for the next grail watch, which has yet to be determined. This one was preordained:)
...if I could have any modern tourbillion, that would be the one, and that specific version, too. Wow! Congratulations!
time happy moments.
Do post further pics when you get a chance, including movement side.
Congrats on a beautiful, tasteful watch.
That is some watch! What is the reference number? Also, where did you get it? I ask because it appears to have been delivered by Brinks: did it show up in an armored car? (I have no doubt that it's value would justify it.)
The reference number is 89000-000P-9843. It is part of the excellence platine collection, only 50 were made. My AD is out of state, so they shipped it to me with Brinks. And yes it did come in an armored Brinks van.
I love the platinum threads on the strap, a special touch that adds something extra to the watch.
Wear it in great health and enjoy. Congrats on a lovely timepiece.
But can you adopt me? :-)
Great watch John, and knowing another one is coming soon.
Hi Dan, I think you might be a tad old for me to adopt you. And if you are hoping to inherit my watches by having me adopt you, my 12-year-old son already has first dibs on that. I swear that kid gets more excited than me everytime I get a new watch :-)
That's actually good news for the future of our hobby!
