Is the name Quai de l'Ile at all in reference to  Quai de l'Horologe where 18th Century watch makers in Paris set up shop? Abraham-Louis Breguet and other French clock and watch-makers had shops on (in) the Quai de l'Horologe.

That's cool ,the dial seems cluttered or uncluttered I can't decide but very cool looking model

My poor photos will not help you to conclude, but I can tell you that the black hands against the transparrent dial is very readable.
