Question about the model and a function.

I just received a Vacheron Constantin as a gift from my girlfriend, but i'm trying to change the year and i can't find the way to do it, also if someone can tell me what model it is, it would be very appreciated.

The number on the back is 737998 42005 750. I made a photo but the quality is poor, hope it helps you.

Thank you in advance,

okey.. :( i tought it was a genuine one because she received it from a french photographer who's making publicities for watch brands so she tought it wasn't a fake one. One button is changing the month case and the other one is changing the day, so i wonder how can i do to change the year, fixed as 2004 actually. The last button is used to change the hour with the arrows, do you think there is a way to change the year number? Thank you for your help.

Maybe its a coincidence, but I've noticed 2 things recently about fakeVC's: The pics are out of focus and the model number is alway 42005 or whatever Caveat emptor! JB

At least with the so-called "better" fakes, the pictures are in focus. Shoddy counterfeits + shaky, out of focus pictures = BAD NEWS!      Modern anti-counterfeiting technology + finest watchmaking traditions = VC's Quai de l'Ile! (and happy collectors)   Cheers, Duncan

which was ref. # for older version of two tone datejust. A guy bought a "genuine" Yachmaster with ref code 16233 on the caseback, and he said it cost him $12000 in Dubai. Maybe he thought I didn't know anything about watches   Also, most fake PP/VC watches have the same kind of moonphase as well...the one that never existed in the original line.

Try turning the months. If it works the year should change to the next one every time the months wheel comes around to January. JB
