Quick question: was the Overseas designed by Gerald Genta

Or was it the 222? Or was it both? Also originally did the OS RO and AP have the same base movement? If yes which one? A watch collector and I have been having a discussion and this came up.

here is your answer re the 222: The Genta Myth.  AFAIK the original OS was an in-house design, as was it's update into the current model.
