Quick thought on quality of people on the HL

After the 1st day of the show a group of us went out to dinner. After a great dinner and some equally good wine we all headed off to different directions. I was going to head back to my hotel and it was located several miles out of Geneva so I was going to look for a taxi.

Kazumi thought that wouldn't be a bad idea for him also. Well finding a taxi in geneva at 10:30 - 11:00 in the evening is just about impossible so we walked to where we thought was more traffic and try there...still no luck. BTW did I tell you it was very cold out!!!! We ended up going all the way back to the hotel where we opriginally met for the dinner and asked the concierge to call us a taxi, which he did and 15 minutes later we finally got one. This whole process took approx 1 hour. So we shared a taxi and Kazumi was closest and would let him out 1st.

This is where it got interesting, as we reached Kazumis hotel I realized that Kazumi was very close to where he was staying while we were walking around. Somewhat astonished I asked him why didn't he just walk back to his hotel much earlier?

Simply put in his very quiet manner he said he didn't want to leave me walking alone looking for a taxi....I was floored and touched at the same time. Kazumi...thank you for being so kind and thoughtful and may only good things come into your life, you are a very special person.Quick thought on quality of people on the HL

Doc

This is the kind of behaviour one could expect from a gentleman.

Having had the pleasure to spend a little bit of time with Kazumi, it was obvious he was a Scholar and a Gentleman.

Thank you Mr L. for sharing this story, it makes me even more honored to have met Kazumi!

Hopefully we will all see each other again in 9 months or so...
