A hefty catalog...

Thanks for the heads-up Aaron . 579 lots makes a hefty catalog and, as you said, some nice Vacheron Constantin pieces. The Reverso collection was also very interesting and informative. The final lot is amazing...they suggest its a unique V&C table clock! Among the other VC offerings is a unique ref. 6087 Cornes de Vache with flat bezel and lugs, lot 427. I don't find it that attractive though . Lots 201 and 202 feature similar Zodiac-theme pocket watches from Robert Cart and V&C; very tasty and within reach of more modest budgets! Outside of the family, I'm growing to appreciate the amazing work of Louis Audemars. Lot 451 features his 1896 Grande Complication, which is outstanding. Sotheby's May Geneva auction catalog arrived in today's mail but it was pretty thin on VC offerings. Still, another Louis Audemars from 1835 caught my eye with intricate enamel scenes of Venice and an unusual repeater mechanism. A real work of art .
