the rarest of all the Overseas models: unique piece

a few weeks ago I posted photos of this left hand Overseas model made in 3 pieces (n°1 one was made for Johann Rupert, CEO of Richemont, VC's holding company...and he didn't like it at all!!)

Here is a unique Overseas chronograph made in one unique example as a prototype and never sold (it is on the wrist of someone at VC though the rarest of all the Overseas models: unique piece)

Notice the blue dial with black subdials...really cool. Shame it never hit the stores.

I didn't like it?? tssssss... I am here looooool :D

The Overseas Chronograph is a very beautiful watch!

The only negative point I found is the date, black on white...I would prefer white on black ^^

I think you're right Fred, a black date disc would have been cooler (n

How come Johann didn't like it...

...probably cause it didn't have a rubber strap on it...:-) The blue dial on an OS is a great idea!
the bracelet pulled the hairs on his arms!! good thing the team at VC

went ahead and launched the OS anyway!

Give that blue chrono the new bracelet and let it hit the stores :-)

If they had produced that version of the Overseas chronograph, I might have purchased one.  Its very very cool!  I would never think of pairing blue and black together on a dial but it looks great.

Best regards,

Dino

I love it-and would have bought it....
