And congratulations for BOTH new additions! I'm sure the watch will mark many wonderful times that you have with your new child.
The driving wristshot is great, but technically the 1921 is not a driver's watch...as driver's watches quite small and were worn on the side of the wrist, so you could see the time while holding the steering wheel, but not need to bend twist your wrist.
There are a few examples of a driver's watch in the Antiquorum Catalog for the VC 250th Anniversary Auction. Sorry, I don't have the book with we now, so I cannot provide a picture.

Good to hear from you and all the best for 2015...
...on both beautiful additions to your family.
The 1921 is a modern, perhaps the modern, Vacheron Constantin icon. It still gives me a thrill every time I see one or put it on. I trust it does that for you, too.
always time precious moments...
A beautiful watch with which to cap the year 2014. Enjoy it, wear it in good healt, and welcome to THL - our little watch family.
