with the permission of Paul Boutros (one of the attendees), here is the true eye-candy and what Respo decribed in words:
All 3 versions of the Saltarello:
Birds of a feather flocking together:
The enamelling detail is truly magnificent
3 generations of VC sports watches (like the left-handed version? ) :
A vintage representation:
Batman is in the house!
Ref. 4178 on an original Gay Freres bracelet, truly luxurious :
The youngest watch of the group, but what a baby! EP collection, with the most desired double-digit number in Asia of this limited edition piece.
And finally, I am sticking in my latest acquisition. From the Structura collection, with cal. 1006. This is actually an engraved cal. 1003 that has been reversed so the dial side is actually the "normal" back of the movement. It allows one to watch the movement in action. All the gears are running in the opposite direction of a traditional movement in order to make sure the hands are still turning in a clockwise direction. (Otherwise we might be in a "Benjamin Buttons" situation)
