Royal Eagle Date Function

Never owned a Vacheron Constantin before, purchased a pre-owned Royal Eagle, the date function doesn't seem to change the date until 12:15-12:25, is this normal? My other automatics all change exactly at midnight. Any help would be appreciated
Hi Lumis. I am wearing my Royal Eagle this weekend

will give you a first wrist account tomorrow, want it to change in normal cycle for a pure result. Welcome to The Hour Lounge. Best, Tim
Don't wait it out, Tim! Change the time & speed forward to 11:59...

The date on the cal. 1137 never changes on the exact point. It might start moving before midnight or a few minutes after. I never happened to have the switch exactly at midnight.

change occured 2min 15 seconds after midnite. The 11:59 method yielded an interesting result. The date changed when the crown was pushed in to wait for the magic minute, this happened twice and when set 10 minutes before midnite, the date changed at 2min 15 seconds after midnite.  I will never part with this watch, it has been a great piece and traveled with me all over the world. I have enclosed a picture of an iteresting encounter from yesterday, the killer whales are feeding on the great whites right now, quite a blood bath out there in the Pacific! Those whales can jump! Best, Tim

Those whales like Vacheron watches too! But since they don't have apposable thumbs, the arm usually goes along with the watch! (LOL) Hope all is well, Tim. Regards, Joseph
It was a calculated risk! ;0)

Hi Radek, you have to see it to believe it! The

lighting was just right and the killer whale was very cooperative ;0)..  This was taken at the Montery Bay Aquarium, somewhere you will need to see when you come to visit. The whale will be waiting for you and the family! Best, Tim

and suspended from the ceiling of the Monterey Bay Aquarium, right on Monterey Bay at Cannery Row. I was on the cat walk and the whale was right next to me. It is really a sight to behold. I had to have a little teasing, must be the warm Spring weather. Best to all, Tim
