Santa Delivers: The RG OS Chrono Finally Arrives

Hi Everyone,

It's been a busy, hectic Holiday Season for me, (I feel like I need a vacation from my vacationSanta Delivers: The RG OS Chrono Finally Arrives) but things have finally settled down a little so I wanted to update you on the RG OS Chrono.  I got it on Christmas Eve and I love itSanta Delivers: The RG OS Chrono Finally Arrives.  I haven't taken it off my wrist since!

It's got some style and pizzaz Santa Delivers: The RG OS Chrono Finally Arrivesbut not too much (pizzaz I mean).....I think it's cool, elegant and yes..even understated if that's possible for an all gold watchSanta Delivers: The RG OS Chrono Finally Arrives!  Thanks to all of you that gave me the encouragement to move forward on this bold decision; I appreciate itSanta Delivers: The RG OS Chrono Finally Arrives.

Finally, please forgive the's the first time I've posted anything anywhere and I'm not into photography at all so I did my best...and I hope the next ones are better and I can improve with practiceSanta Delivers: The RG OS Chrono Finally Arrives.  A special thanks to Dino who gave me some pointers on not only how to post but on photography as well.  All photo mistakes are mine, not withstanding Dino's advice and help, and again I know I'll get better...I just wanted to share these with you.

Anyway, thanks again and here's a few pics.

Best regards,

Hi Tom, I love the dark dial with the rose case and bracelet.  What a fantastic looking Overseas.  The bracelet is just magnificent and the rose really highlights what a great job they did at VC of working the Maltese Cross into the bracelet links.  I hope that this new addition will bring you many years of great service and enjoyment.  Of the various version of Overseas watches that have been released this is definitely my favorite. You are more than welcome for the little bit of photo assistance I was able to lend.  Your photos already look better than the ones I usually take.  I am really looking forward to seeing some more photos soon. Enjoy your beautiful Overseas and Happy New Year. Best regards, Dino
Thanks Dino....

I appreciate your comments and your encouragement during the process.  You spoke so enthusiastically about this particular watch in RG in a few different posts on a few different forums, with the bracelet, that it got me to see it in a different light. Thanks. Best regards, Tom
WOW, Tom...

Now that's a really stunning watch! Its really beautiful. Wear it in excellent health, Tom. In fact you inspired me to get my own RG watch with a bracelet, but unfortunately not a VC. I'll post it anonther time. I just want to enjoy, vicariously, yours! Joseph
What can I say Jospeh...

Congratulations, Tom, on securing this beautiful chrono.  I hope you'll report back to us on the kinds of looks and comments it elicits from others, as I know that was one of your concerns. A purchase like this means more when you've thought it through as carefully as you did, and I hope it gives you many years of joy and satisfaction. Park

Thanks Park....

Tom, that is so beautiful, you have to keep posting photos for us. I love the combination of the rose gold and its black dial. The bracelet in rose gold is breathtaking to complete the watch's presentation. Its going to be your favorite for a long time. Congratulations and best wishes. Matt

And from all of the comments in the thread so far, it's clear that the members of this community endorse your choice!  I know that you agonized for quite a while and finally ended up with the piece that is just right for you.  Many years of happy wearing! All the best, Gary
Thanks Gary,...

For your thoughts and generosity, especially with your time.  Your YG OS Dual Time is just breathtaking and you walked me through the rationale of choosing a VC with a gold bracelet so you know what a tough choice that can be; it was scary and you made it a lot less so.  I kept going back to your gorgeous pictures as well and eventually I knew it was  right.  Thanks again. Best regards, Tom
Gary want to post some scans of your gold OS? :-) (nt)

I guess I must've been!  I appreciate your kind words and your encouragement along the way but what really got me going were the pics you posted in resonse to my post a few months ago.  They were stunning!  Also I went back and read your report form the 2008 SIHH and it seemed you thought that the all gold was not too far out and then finally I saw it on your wrist at the recent London get together and I knew it was worth thinking seriously about.  Thanks again Alex. Best regards, Tom

Congratulations on your stunning X'mas present. I am sure you will have a helluva happy new year hoping around single's bars with that baby! Seriously, that I am glad you finally decided to go for it. As I said before, I don't think the usual adjectives given to most gold bracelet watches do not apply to this one.  As you said, it has pizzaz but not too much of it. Wear it in good health! All the best, Kazumi

Kazumi; I can't believe......

that you guessed the real reason for the All Gold OS; it's unbelievable!!!  It's been a long time since I was hopping around singles bars (But not so long that I can't remember those days!!). I appreciate your thoughtful words and your encouragement throughout the process.  You too helped push me over the  edge; thanks! Best regards, Tom
