Radek had the genius idea, but Fred, you've made it work!!!

The work you have done in the last 2 weeks is REALLY IMPRESSIVE - all the pictures are beautiful!!!

I said thanks before, but I though I had to say it again...

It might sound corny, but every day I love the Lounge more and more... everybody's enthusiasm, knowledge, passion and dedication is truly unique!

Thanks Alex ^^ ...
12/05/2007 - 19:00

... You will make me redden

It's a real pleasure of taking part in this forum!! I was just the hand of your passion and imagination!

I hope that some happy and impassioned loungers will have the possibility of offering them the watch which will be selected!!

... but, in the case VC couldn't produce such pieces, I hope that a prototype will be produced to symbolize our forum!!

Hip hip... for Fred925, some vey nice HL Time Piece
12/05/2007 - 23:11

My preference to the Bi-retro WG black dial,

is it possible to see it with a grey dial?

Amazing work Loungers!! I'll have one of each please :-) Fred two

Amazing Fred, Congrats and thanks for all your hard work! Take a break and relax! You deserve it!! Regards, Joseph
Many thanks to Fred for all this creative work>>>
12/06/2007 - 01:31
and all the ideas and other designs that poured into this great inspiration. I am just in awe of several of the choices, but that Toledo with the RG and chocolate face is not only stunning but it takes us back to the origin of the design---the chocolate candy from which it was inspired--back to the beginning with style. Many thanks to all, Tim
a big thanks for the fantastic idea and the great and funny jobs made!

Thanks to Radek for the great idea, thanks

12/06/2007 - 03:55

Some amazing pieces we created. The Malte chrono...the Patrimony...Fred, you're SO GOOD!

Many thanks to Radek, Fred, Alex, and everyone !!
12/06/2007 - 05:36

Thank you very much to Radek for the great idea!

Thanks to Alex for supporting and giving impetus to the project (your work is just beginning though).

Thanks to Fred for helping the contest come alive!

Thanks to everyone for contributing so many wonderful ideas!

All I need now is the money!  How about a cash (or watch) prize for the worst photoshop effort (which I am sure to win)?

Thanks to all again!!

All the best!

What a great place to hang out!
12/06/2007 - 07:08

Thanks to all the Loungers that make this such a cool place to visit.  I really enjoy reading the posts and learning about this great storied watch made by Vacheron & Constantin!

The contest has been so much fun to follow.  Thanks to all that contributed especially Radek for coming up with the idea and Fred for all the hard work bringing ideas to life.  I like several of the watches but two stand out to me, the Toledo with the RG and chocolate face and the Patrimony Bi retrograde in WG slate grey dial Hommage aux Grands Explorateurs case.  VC should know that whatever is selected, I will be waitng in line to order one or two or ....

Thank you all!!! :) ...
12/06/2007 - 09:28

and one more scan I promised to George: A very nice and original (in my opinion Malte Tonneau Dual Time based on the Malte Tonneau Tourbillon.

PG, dark blue dial, dark blue strap ... I let you se the other details ^^

THE detail to underline si the power reserve markers!! For me, you have a really really big excellent idea George!!!!

Th markers H and L with the Hour Lounge typo/font would symbolize OUR watche, and more,

H = High

L = Low ... no change to for understooding!!

(instead of H for Haut and B for Bas in French on the initial version)

great job! fred. now we are spoilt with choices. n.t.

Huge Thanks to Fred, Radek and Alex.
12/06/2007 - 13:58

Fred you've done your magic again. Thank you for your extremely kind words

and as I said I owe you a 7 course dinner with French wine.

Radek your idea to initiate this project was perfect. I had a great time trying to think ways to personalize amazing watches.

I also appreciated once more the creativity enthusiasm and taste of my fellow Loungers.

Alex thanks for your guidance, dedication and enthusiasm. No matter which watch we finally select, I hope with all my hart that you will persuade VC to reward its ambassadors (because each of us is exactly this in his country) with their own special edition watch.

George

That one is REALLY nice! :-) (nt)

.

What an immense amount of creativity...
12/06/2007 - 13:06

I am really proud of us Loungers for getting involved in this contest/project. We have turned out to be an extremely creative, passionate and talented community. I am OVERWHELMED

I call this contest a project on purpose. We're on a mission here guys... I believe that, whatever the outcome and what creations win the HL LE watch, we can make this happen. We will have our V&C Hour Lounge watch come true. It looks real to me!!!

Now, we are just awaiting the Jury preselection to be announced. From then on, we will give Fred a couple of days to perfect the preselected images. Afterwards we will continue the contest with the real voting for our favorite V&C Lounge watch. I just can't wait to find out what our ultimate choice will be.

Great fun. Thank you guys for your involvement and participation.

I find all of them amazing

Hey Fred, if there is still time for suggestions, can we make the triple date RG with black dial and brown strap, with the hour markers from the Malte Perpetual calendar retrograde? (Pretty please? I had put the request before the deadline)

Great job Fred, the Loungers will have a hard time picking their

good job
12/07/2007 - 12:14

Thank you for everyone's contributions to this contest, especially Fred for his wonderful photoshop works.

During this event, I realized the pleasure to design unique watches as well as difficulties to create "fine" pieces

suit for everyone's taste. Now I feel like to appreciate VC design teams' achievements; understand VC fans taste

and produce exciting watches.

Intrigued by earlier topic from JohnLy
12/07/2007 - 13:19

I was so intrigued by JohnLy’s purchase that I had to try it out on the ordinary chronometer black dial…dunno about the quality...it was a quick'n dirty just before going for lunch…but I’d like mine to be like that…(not quick n' dirty of course  )

Sorry JohnLy if “played around” with your picture…

impressive photoshop skills, Xerxes...

Re: with a leather strap the look of the OS changes completely!
12/07/2007 - 15:05

Thnx Veillotron

I am though just an amateur compared to our friends here like Fred et al. But I really got the urge to try out that strap on a OS...wonder if one will be able to buy that strap for the ordinary OS...if it fits that is...maybe Alex knows something about it?...

BTW Xerxes, would you mind reposting this watch as a new post? Since
12/07/2007 - 16:30

than later straps will be available for the regular OS models

Patrimony Traditionnelle 38mm Annual calendar
12/08/2007 - 16:23

I always thought it to want a wrist watch with the function of the annual calendar in VC. A design and the calendar indication layout that there is not in PP. The hint was hidden in an inheritance of the history to continue more than 250 years. And I discovered a hint about the watch at last in March, 2005! Photographs are pocket watch, but please try to imagine wrist watch The model becoming the basis thinks that Patrimony Traditionnelle 38mm is good, but how is it? Do all of you like Breguet number and an index of Roman numeral which? Case: K18PG and K18 WG Movement: Self-winding watch (the basis, Cal2450)) Dial: Print Roman index (12,3,6,9,) Dial Color Silver no shine.

P.S: Masters of Photoshop are glad when I have I pass and make this photograph according to my image. My best regards. V.Piguet

Hi V. Piguet the scans are too small to be able to use :-( I would
12/11/2007 - 12:55

definately have loved to see a wrist watch with this configuration and even questioned the Maison about commissioning a special piece but the costs of modifiying existing movement would have been way too expensive

12/11/2007 - 14:28

Hi Alex.

I'm sorry. It has talked away from the outline me for a moment.
