Seeking info on this Cal 466/3B beauty

This manual wind gold watch with a Cal 466/3B movement belonged to my grandfather. It was given to him as a gift in Italy in 1952. I am trying to gather as much information about it as possible. Its detail is beautiful and I am proud to have it be in our family. This watch was discussed a few years ago on this forum, but I would welcome any new thoughts and history on it from the experts on this board. Enjoy the photo. Apologies for the quality of the shot. Seeking info on this Cal 466/3B beauty

Ref. 4786

Judging by the picture, it appears to be a Ref. 4786 if 35mm wide, with the Clous de Paris guilloche bezel and the 9-ligne caliber 466 "pitch-fork" movement.  Sometimes called a "Disco Volante", which literally means Flying Saucer.  That nickname was borrowed from an earlier model, but can be applied IMHO to any of the period watches characterized by a large flange and protruding caseback which gives the impression of a flying saucer when viewed from the back.Doc's picture
