Seeking Information on Family Watch

Hello, I would like to hopefully find out some information about a pocket watch that belonged to my father. It was given to him by his parents for his 21st birthday in 1968, and it is one of my earliest memories of being around the house as a child. Very, very sentimental to me, and I have no intention of parting with it. Anyway, I'd like to know some things about it's history and I'm having a hard time finding anything. Let me tell you what I do know ... On the face of the watch is "O.L. Rosenkrans & Thatcher Co.". I've been able to find out that this was a jeweler in the Milwaukee area, and that they had watches manufactured by someone else for their own private label. Numerals are standard, not Roman. On the movement is "O.L. Rosenkrans & Thatcher Co., Milwaukee, Wiss". And finally, the "Vacheron & Constantin" designation is on the movement, with the serial number of 319356, which seems to place this between 1905 and 1910? So ... any thoughts on what I have? The case is 18k gold, but other than that i have no idea really. I would love to know more about this, and I thank you in advance for any ideas you could throw my way.

the movement was sent to VC's new York agent in 1902 from there

it was certainly sold to O.L. Rosenkrans & Thatcher Co. It was frequent at the time for VC to send movements to their retailers who would then case them under their own name.
