Sharing Recipes

Bet there are a few closet chefs out there?  I just finished pounding out some pizza dough and thought it might be wonderful for us to share our favorite "simple" recipes (simple so I can try them Sharing Recipes)...but you must have made it yourself!

Canuck-Style Pizza

Place 1 1/4 cups warm water, 2 tsp instant yeast, 1 tsp sugar and 3 tbsp pure canola oil into a medium bowl and stir to combine.

Place 3 cups whole wheat flour and 1/2 tsp salt into a large bowl and add the wet ingredients from above.

Mix with a fork until the dough clumps, then place on floured granite surface and hand-knead for 5 minutes.

Place dough ball into a lightly oiled deep bowl and cover in a warm dark cupboard for 1 hour.  After dough rises, punch it down then cut in half.

Press out the dough into two 12" round pizza pans.

Cover with BBQ sauce.  Add bite-size pieces of cooked chicken, slices of red and green peppers and top with shredded mozarella and cheddar cheese.

Bake at 400F about twenty minutes, then enjoy Sharing Recipes.
