Shots of the VC manufacture visit

Dear All,

Here are a few shots I took during our visit of the manufacture. As Alex perfectly covered the molecular cuisine, I'll focus on the watches and the incredible guys (and girls) who make them!

Let's enter the serious area: movement assemby. I did not shoot the robots... Because there are not any robot to be shot!

My favorite shot of the trip: 1003 squeletton caliber viewed in a microscope. Horology at its best!

Some demonstration pieces, believe it or not, those are not for sale, but just presented to visitors of the workshops

Here is an other workshop where 4 watchmakers produce weird watches with too many hands and hole in their dials

That's it for the visit, let's now move to real training: etirage, perlage, anglage have no secrets for us any more ;)

This visit has been incredible, both in terms of what we saw and in terms of the kindness of the persons who welcommed us! Thanks again to the whole VC team!

It's a small plate that the VC team offered us to train our hands. It's much bigger than a movement part, which gave us an idea of the difficulty of the job :)
VC is truly 1st class!

It's great to see what actually goes into creating a piece; are the cases made in-house or sub-contracted, does anybody know?
cases are made by outside casemakers
