Where past and present meet
A tribute to the models made by the Manufacture in the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s, the new Patrimony Traditionnelle Self-Winding watch belongs to a veritable watchmaking tradition. Its pure lines and balanced proportions forcefully assert its timeless character. With its fine bezel, knurling around the caseback, which features a screw-down sapphire crystal, facetted trapezoid hour-markers, dauphine hands and a dial in several tones, this model embodies all the aesthetic values of the new Patrimony Traditionnelle line.

Its 38 mm case houses the new Vacheron Constantin 2455 calibre with its small decentred seconds at 9 o’clock and date window at 3 o’clock. And as unpretentious refinement and apparent simplicity are always accompanied by Vacheron Constantin’s exceptional finishing, the 2455 calibre bears the Geneva hallmark.

Great size!

Although the Métiers dArt Les Masques collection is the most impressiv release this year - this could be the ultimate casual dress watch (imho).

Great size, white metal, elegant dail and inhouse movement. The only thing is that I feel that patrimony automatic 40 mm got her competitor pretty fast. Hope dont VC starts to release more 2455's with diffrent dial-changes ever now and then.

Would love to see it in flesh. To bad we dont have any AD left in Stockholm/Sweden :-/ - Copenhagen here I come.

Very nice looking...

A really nice simple dress watch from VC.  The crown does look a bit small in the photo but I'll save my final judgment until I see this watch in person.  I really like the dial layout.   Any idea when these might start arriving at ADs?

Best wishes,

The dial is stunning, these watches should hit the stores by this

It was fun in the 30s!

When they had a lot of small pocket movements,

and didn't know what to do with them!

That's the original circumstances why the small second,

where placed there.

But a beautiful movement.

To be honest,

I don't think it's in the neighbourhood of the Patrimony,

with the big hand,

and without automatic,

is just stunning!

Alex, grab one in Geneva, for me :-)

What a beauty...
