SIHH 2008, Part I (Meeting the Loungers & VC Dinner)

I just got back from Zurich yesterday after a long trip home made even more "memorable" thanks to Heathrow's infamous Terminal 5!!  Unfortunately, my luggage won't be arriving till tomorrow.SIHH 2008, Part I (Meeting the Loungers & VC Dinner)

Anyway, since most of the guys have already posted great coverage of the SIHH, and the novelties, I will concentrate on the angles that haven't been covered yet.

Before the VC Dinner, some of the guys decided to meet up for coffee at a familiar coffee shop (except no coffee was ever ordered because we were all just so excited meeting up with everyone!)

L-R:  Radek, LN (Lin), and Alex with the usual "show your watch" pose.

Jerome (mercator), Lin's better half, and Radek (again, thousands of $$$ on the wrists, but not a single coffee on the table!)

Special thanks to Jerome for giving Radek and yours truly a short tour around the streets of Geneva.

True to form, Jerome had this on his wrist...Ooh-la-lah!

they look like a million dollars themselves :-)))

Please note that Alex is not wearing a watch in this picture!!! He was expecting a fresh delivery any minute... a US Overseas that he presented a few posts below. Great watch, Alex!!!

Jerome, a modest owner of a beautiful Mercator...

Great to see you all in the pix again!!!

Ahah! Now I know what you all look like :-)

Hm...do you think my pic will scare the Loungers?
04/14/2008 - 14:16

I seldom got my pic taken...actually back a while ago if you go to Horomundi.com, there were pics of me in some watch events (JLC & VC). Even the VC magazine got HALF of my face, unfortunately, taken during the last VC event in Jakarta

My dear Lin, can you tell me which watch (I can only hope it is a VC!) you were wearing?

You should have spent a wonderful time, I imagine.

Good to hear that you've made back into one piece...

Sorry to hear about Terminal 5 - I feel you pain... Believe me, I've felt that pain a few times in the last week...

I don't care what Alex says about Swiss coffee, you guys shouldn't go to Starbucks when in Geneva

LOL !!
