SIHH 2009 and the Geneva Seal

Why did VC launch the Patrimony Chronograph and Patrimony Perpetual Calendar Chronograph with movements that do not meet the requirements of the Geneva Seal?

I got the impression from SIHH 2007, that all their new launches from then onwards will have the Geneva Seal.

VC is reserving the Geneva Seal only for its inhouse movements. You

may ask why calibers 1003 and 1120 have the seal as well but they are exclusive to VC.

Does that mean VC is working on new inhouse movements?
of course! the goal is to have 100% inhouse movements in a very

near future.

I am sure VC will have the most complete collection, in both aesthetic and technical terms in a few years time. On another note, is Patek doing away with the Geneva Seal and bringing in the 'Patek' Seal?
