SIHH Sneak Peek contest: And the winners are...(drum roll)

First of all thank you for all who participated it was great fun, and for those who didn't participate or didn't win don't worry there will be many more contests with awsome prizes. 

The watch (which is still under embargo until April 16) features the following functions: hours, minutes, day and date (via discs). The Metier d'Art is engraving.

As I had said in my first post this is one of those watches which you will love or hate but will not leave place for lukewarm feelings. Its bold audacuois and innovative...a true piece of art.

Thanks Alex, it was great fun!

By the way it looks like that transparent dial rotates. When you compare Sneak Peeks 1 and 6 the "Vacheron Constantin" text is fixed but the words under it are different. That suggests that there is movement in the dial holding the poem. Perhaps it rotates once every 24 hours making it an intersting and novel way to tell the time.

From the pics and your last comments, the new series seems to be a different version of the 250th anniversary Metier d'Art series, this time with engraving being the icing on the cake.

It definitely will be a love it or hate it affair, but hats off to VC for taking such a brave and audacious challenge in the name of haute horology.
