"Small But Intense"

A friend who vaguely knew I collected watches recently asked just how many I had, expecting that I kept suitcases filled with watches under the bed.  I just said my collection was small but intense...and only one brand which he'd never heard of and couldn't pronounce "Small But Intense".  We moved on to discuss hockey...

In fact, family and friends often don't get it.  But I'm very proud of this small but intense collection and know it will continue to grow in a very careful and selective manner.  Inspired by some of the collections revealed on this and other websites, I've tried to showcase the pieces in an attractive manner too.

I'd love to see what others have done to display their precious watches...

"Small But Intense"

PS...some have may noticed a few watches missing.  No worries, they are at the spa "Small But Intense".

Sad that one has to worry nowadays but if I couldn't look and touch it would be sadder still .  Actually I live in a highrise building that has the security of a bank!
That's what you call passion !

Aaron, because we also rally the kids got me a custom license plate for my birthday with a very special reference to the legendary Blitzen Benz race cars.  The people at motor vehicles were suspicious because any reference to speeding is not allowed so they sent a letter asking for the meaning of BLITZEN.  I told them it was one of Santa's reindeer and got the plate .
i'll be fooled too. :) what great name for your car ...

My VC collection's even smaller than yours, and I didn't build a nice glass display, but I do keep the lovely wooden box that came with my watch on display in my office...
A work of art by itself!
