So, here's what I decided...

I didn't get the DTR - it's next, but at a later date. I got the one I orginally got, for the reasons I originally got it - I was looking for a timeless, elegant and extraordinary simple dress watch. I got the Patrimony Contemporaine WG after getting over my superstition (I saw a tarrot card reader, had my hands read, tossed salt over my left shoulder... you know, the usual :) ). It won't be in for a week or so, so I will post pics then. All previous pics have been destroyed (my tarrot card reader told me to do so). Cheers all!
did you skip on one foot counter clockwise? The best way to scare

watch demons

Congrats on the new Patrimony I guess its always best to stick to your gut feeling.

There has been so much talk on the Patrimony Contemporaine that I'm starting to get the itch for one !!

Nice little devil - you've got to get this site to work on Safari!

Wish I could do all that stuff too. Yes, it's gorgeous and I'm getting an antique, semi-mat, dark brown large scale farmed gator strap made. I'm finally getting a strap changing tool, so that it can be like my panerais, and I can switch based on my shoes ;)
brown strap on white metal is definately cool! (nt)

Alex, wasn't it,

stepping with your LEFT foot in dog-shit,

that was the soloution to everything?

At least that was what you told me a week ago :-)

I'll never post a pic of my DTR,

as long as I live on this site.

Neither on my Patrimony either.

Instead after all this chatting I send a pic of a watch,

which I will not commentate at all :-)

Only that 125 pieces were made in WG.

A seed takes time to grow doc... it's been planted. thx

I'm hoping to re-define it's character a little. Let's see how successful I am.

You've made a wise decision. It's clearly the most elegant dress watch out there. Look foward to the pictures.

Alex - a favour please

Do you happen to know the lug width and OEM strap dimensions? Is it 20mm at the watch, 18mm at the clasp, 115/70mm?
20mm lugs and 18mm buckle. The length of the strap depends

if you want it short, standard or long, however I don't have the dimensions.
