Some bling for a change :-)

It's long since we had real bling here !
Not just composing different materials with gold etc.
Real diamond, sapphire, yellow gold and white gold Some bling for a change :-)

Yeah, you seen it before Some bling for a change :-),
but I love it and never seen any alike.
They made less than 30 such pieces.
Some bling for a change :-)

Some bling for a change :-)

The deployant is not especially smart, but complicated Some bling for a change :-)

Some more Some bling for a change :-)

Some bling for a change :-)

Some bling for a change :-)

This type of watch was first made made in 1920-30's, to protect the glass, which was very vulnerable. JLC made the Reverso instead. This of course was more elegant and you could easily see the time by pushing the sapphire, called cabouchon! This is made as a part of the Les Historiques serie in the 90's. And on the wrist Cheers Doc

besides for the obvious reasons. This early bad scan shows what I grew up with and what's left. My Mom had this Lucien set made for my Dad for Christmas 1955 and engraved accordingly. The diamonds and saphires are full cut and clear. The ring Pop's won in a crap game, I swear! Most unfortunately my parents house recently got broken into and this plus much more was taken. Miki
