Some hints will be greately appreciated.

Hi there,

I am posting two pictures from an alleged genuine VC, dated likely in the 30s.

I have been offered the watch to purchase, but I have some doubts.

Your comments and further hints will be most welcome.

Thanks Alex for your comment. I love this piece, any further reason to believe it to be a genuine VC?
how about a scan of the dial? The case and movement look

correct but that's just judging from photos. If you want to be 100% certain you should ask for a certificate of authenticity

Alex,  you can see the watch and dial on the xxxBay site. The dial is painted and with black stick hands. Diameter is 27mm, excl crown.  It would not work for me. Robert

Dear Robert, Thanks for your comments. I´ve just posted some scans from the dial. I´d love to know why it wouldn't work for you. All the best, Gunshot

the dial does look original, the markings have the slightly raised

look of enameled print which can't be found on refurbished dials. However at 27mm it is way too small for a man's watch IMHO
