Hi Alex, lot 398 has the greatest lugs, what is the case diameter
02/21/2009 - 23:31
of this one. I am far from my reference material. Is this still a 36mm? Thanks, Tim
Hi Tim, I've been looking at lot 398 as well
02/22/2009 - 05:49
I went to the auctioneer's website and the watch is 33mm in diameter, 7mm thick.  The dial has been reprinted "very well" according to the description, but unfortunately the picture is not detailed enough to zoom in to get a really good look.  The description also says its been "recently serviced by Vacheron Constantin". I looking at it as a potential gift for the wife, but don't know what the reprinted dial has done to it.  But I totally agree, you gotta love them lugs! BR, Dan
Hi Dan, thanks for the information, I try not to go to the auction

websites as I end up bidding on something I should resist at the moment. At 33mm that piece is too small for my purposes. I hope you get a great deal and thanks again. Best, Tim
Nothing to my liking ;-( William, can you please finally get that...
