very nice photos...

I still MUCH (x10) prefer the first set of les Masques to this second set, but I'm starting to think that maybe I was a little bit harsh when I said the first time around that I was really dissappointed by the 2nd set.

Like you, I liked the previous set better, but the new masks are really growing on me. The Mexico mask is my favourite, it looks so alive.

the Mexico and Papouasie masks are kindda scary! Agree with you they

look alive which really shows the amazing work of the engraver and painter!
Indeed these are extraordinary watches.

I like Japan mask from this series while choosing Indonesian mask from the 1st series. I wonder if people do wear them on the wrists instead of putting them only in bank's vault? Thanks Alex.
Very interesting design! I can't say that I really love...

the design, though they are pretty neat. I like how it looks like the mask is on the outside of the sapphire.  Sadly, at least as of last year, they are only sold in sets, makig they way out of reach for most of us!! I had the pleasure of viewing a set during a tour of the Vacheron manufacuring facility in June of '07. Jacob

Hi Alex, The New Guinea mask strikes me as a bit humerous, at least he's smiling. The Mexico mask is the one that really "creeps me out". All of them are very realistic-looking and I think the realization and accurary has been much better on this set of four. So much so that the Mexico mask actually looks like a death mask! I'm not sure I would want it on my wrist...bad "ju-ju" I probably have bad luck as long as I wore it. The Gabon and Japan masks are much more serene. But the execution of all the masks is really impressive, nonetheless. Regards, Joseph
The maya mask is definitively my favourite one!

Gabon is the most attractive, although I stay on the first set
