Cal 1008 is the same as 1007 in Victor's scan but with center seconds.

To the finishing make all the difference. I also noticed that V&C has 19 jewel vs 17 on the JLC, do you know where they were added? I would love to see V&C begin to use screwed down gold chatons to hold the jewels using blued screws on their high end watches. Lange does this and I think it gives it a touch of old world elegance (just like Doc...LOL) and quality. Just a small way to differentiate themselves from the crowd.

Cal 478 is just like a lady without make-up whereas Cal 1008 is the same lady with make-up, perhaps a bit of plastic surgery.

Thanks for the pics.  Nice vintage piece, and the movement does look mint.

What I like most about many of the CR models is the dagger-shaped hands.  I much prefer them to the sword-shaped hands on the current Malte line.
