does this have? Would love to see a modern re-intrepretation of this.  Also love the MR Lot 383 and the Malte TO Lot 96.

Magnificent selection ....

... thank you Alex for sharing. I like esprecially the Ref 43060/43064 with its wonderful dial. Interesting detail: the power reserve on the deck watch (Lot 199) indicated in German ("Auf" - "Ab"). Any indication about the origin of this watch?
THanks Alex

The enamelled is really interesting.  The vintage minute repeater even if not in a perfect shape is such a thing heart  (what a duet it would be with your 4178 , i have looked wour photos again and again... gosh... that dial... ) It's nice to see that for once the big lot is a Vacheron :)
Good to see these interesting VC timepieces at the AQ auction.

Thanks Alex for sharing. Good to see these interesting and beautiful VC timepieces at the AQ auction. Especially I like the Ref 4261 Minute Repeater circa 1945. I'm curious to see the final price.

Hi Alex, I am a new member of the VC club. Apologies, I never liked Vacheron until I stumbled onto the hour lounge a month ago and read more about the watches and vc's history. I am a bit old-fashioned and don't like the current trend of showing-off and big, large, heavy watches. Understatement has always been part of my education and it seems I am in a minority currently. I like vintage and modern watches and I have now bought 2 vintage VCs, a 4072 and a 4178. Your articles on the different series have been very useful, so thanks a lot. Anyhow, now to the matter of my first post, I am very keen on the 4261 BUT to me the lugs seem to me not original or at least polished square and all the pictures and info I have on that model is that it should be a nice round tear drop shape. Do you know if that is indeed correct or if the watch on auction is indeed an original unusual design? I will probably also bid for the lot 33, nice simple dress watch.

latest aquisitions have been a 4072 and 4178! Please do share your models if you have a moment. Regarding the 4261 it seems from the side photos that the lugs are indeed flattened on the outside but I will need to check this and see if I can see the watch in the metal and get back to you.

Hi Alex, thanks for that. I can't travel to Geneva for this auction, so if anyone can check the watch out and let me know, that would be greatly appreciated. On pictures, I will need to do some first and learn how to post some.
