This model is from 1941, made in 12 rose gold pieces and 6 in yellow gold. One of the patricularities of this piece is the fact that it has a 45 minute counter (and not the usual 30 minute counter).

Case size is 33mm and houses cal 295.

Can you tell us more about Gobbi Milano and their partnership with Vacheron&Constantin ? Do they still exist and sell V&C ? All the best to my feloow loungers, Berny
Gobbi is a retailer in Milano, it was founded I believe in the mid

19th century and it sold some of the worlds most prestegious brands (notably Vacheron and Patek). It was not unusual in the 30s-50s that certain dials also had the retailers name on them. Gobbi is no longer a VC retailer but I do not know when they stopped.

Man, that is a sweet piece .  Even though 33mm might seem small, I bet with those whopper lugs, it sits very well on the wrist.  Any chance of sneaking into the vaults for some wrist shots Alex?   Love the movement too...another cal 295 to admire.
