Gave me better understanding about VC. But of course some cliches are present...

Thanks, Alex. I enjoyed the interviews a lot...

The new projects mentioned in the interviews really fan the flames of expectations for this year.

Still need to buy that elusive winning lottery ticket though.

Best Regards,

Thanks Alex, Next to Collecting watches, I enjoy reading

about them. I would like to hear more from Mr Torres about the direction he envisions for Vacheron. I think they did one hell of a job for their 250th. All those watches will/are classics. I hope they continue with more of their innovative products, but balance that with the classic/historical product line. I also hope they broaden out their work with enamel & cloisonne dials.

This is a very interesting period for Vacheron, they have me anxious to see what they will be introducing this year...thats a very good thing.

Thanks Alex, I go to read it immediatly!! (nt)

Thanks Alex for posting and giving us the heads up.

I am very excited about the idea of VC "re-inventing" guilloche - hopefully we'll know what this is all about shortly! 2007 was such a great year, I have big expectations for 2008!!

I'm not sure though if I agree with the concept that we are now in the "Impressionists Age of the Watch"... While it is true that in today's world we rely a lot less on a watch to get the time, has it not been for a long time more than just a timekeeper? Just looking at Doc's collection, one can clearly see that it has been all about emotions for a very, very long time...I think on this one the guys are "putting a little bit of mustard"

I did enjoy the comment about the Excellence Platine Collection being subversively modern - I do agree 100% with that
