Gents, please welcome a long time lurker, first time poster :) I've been lusting after a steel bracelet for my Titanium Overseas chrono for a while now, but I have some doubts as to how it will fit my wrist. On the rubber strap the watch fits just about perfect - ever so slightly loose in cooler environment and just a touch grippy when it's hot and humid. The holes on the rubber strap are spaced about 4mm apart and rubber by the virtue of being flexible and somewhat elastic is far more forgiving than steel, so dialing in the right fit is not difficult.
On my AP Royal Oak 15400 however I wasn't so lucky and just adding or removing bracelet links (5mm each) didn't provide for a perfect fit, it was either too loose or too tight, so I ended up getting a 1.5 link from AP. If the same is true for Overseas steel bracelet, then perhaps + or - 5mm may not give me the right fit and I am not aware of VC offering half or one-and-a-half links for the Overseas, that sorta messing with the Maltese cross theme and all. Or am I wrong about that and finer adjustment links exist?
Either way, I am wondering if the collective wisdom of the Hour Lounge may be able to help me with figuring this out. How wide are the regular links on the Overseas bracelet (assuming there are no 0.5's and 1.5s)? Or perhaps someone who has an Overseas chrono could share their experience with fitting a strap and a bracelet? My wrist is about 6.75" and on the rubber strap I have the deployant buckle attached to the third hole from the inside (counting from the watch head towards the outside end of the strap).
P.S. My chrono says hi and thanks in advance :)
