Stolen Overseas Chronograph

Dear VC friends,

I have had the great misfortune of having 10 of my most precious watches stolen during a break-in at night when we were sleeping.

I have lost the following VC:
SS Overseas Chronograph (first edition) s/n 760514

If anyone finds this watch on an aution or in a shop then pls contact me on jcbang@mac.com

I would also like to know if VC keeps a record of stolen watches in case they turn up for a service or repair. I know IWC does.

Also if anyone knows of any shops in Rome or Naples which deals in used watches then pls contact me via email. I live in Rome so it is worth a try...   Any other suggestions are more than welcome as well.

Best regards

Jens Chr. Bang

I know how it feels as I also had a number of watches stolen a few years ago.  However, please do not give up hope.  I was very lucky and was actually able to get them back after the thief tried to sell them and I found out. Good luck and I hope that you will one day be reunited with your watches. Duncan
Terrible News Jens...

I hope you are as lucky as Duncan was and can get watches back - quickly and undamaged.  Very sorry to hear about your situation. Best Regards, Dan

Dear Jens, I am very sorry to here about your loss. It is always my nightmare that this will happen to me one day. During my last visit to Rome I discovered a little shop, at Via Della Scrofa with some beautiful Vacheron watches in good prices. Have a look and GOOD LUCK. Best Regards Marios
