Stuck at an airport, again

Stuck at an airport, again

I've been at the airport all day again as my afternoon flight was cancelled and I rebooked pn an evening flight, which hopefully will take off 3 hours from now.

But its never ALL bad when you have some great traveling trio this week:

Stuck at an airport, again

The T-Bird is like a portable little sun, and it always likes to take a place in the center of everything.  At least it makes me warm and smiley cool

Failed, all flights tonight cancelled :-(

If at first you do not succeed, try, try again.  Going home now and back to the airport in the morning.

Really a great trio

I went close to put my hands on that Overseas' version, as you know, but I wasn't lucky, the watch wasn't good, then I went close to get the Thunderbird also, that one was in NOS conditions and full set; I've just arrived too late as someone faster than me, reserved the watch for himself.

Dan, just think you can count on those little friends for some relief from your flight delays and the bad luck.

As you can see by my vicissitudes, luck is a really relative concept cheeky

Best wishes on your journey, safe travels.

Thanks Roberto, I finally made it to my destination.

36 hours later, and after the 5 different flight cancellations within a 24 hour period...flight #6 was a success!  :-)

I hope you can make it to SIHH this year.  BR, Dan

On a roll...

LOL, on a roll with both your posts and watches cheeky.  Wonderful to see those sweet pieces.

I like the play on words my friend, just rolling along! ;-) (nt)

the T Bird of my dreams :-)

For a man that has probably touched and often owned many

of this world's beautiful timepieces...owning a watch that you dream of is really something special!  Thanks Pal!

What a trio!

And surely you have another on your wrist.  wink

I like that roll case.  Have I seen that one before?

I don't believe you have.

They are fairly inexpensive roll cases (found on Amazon).  It has a carbon fiber exterior.  I will bring one with me during a January GTG?  :-)

I like deployant buckles and two of the watches I brought with me use them.  But with my skinny wrists, the straps don't lay flat.  Therefore I've found rolls to be helpful, but I need to find them with cushions that are small (or compressible) enough.

If you are going to be stuck somewhere...

Then that is a good trio to be stuck with.  Great to look at, fun to play with, and they require little supervision!

Exactly, little supervision/low maintenance is a wonderful thing! :-) (nt)
