Test to create my "ideal" WT overseas

Dear Loungers,

I had mentionned I was thinking to put the original golden hands from Patrimony WT on the Overseas WT.

I know that these hands are not in the official spirit of the Overseas collection with lume inserts.

What do you think of these photos (I do not have photoshop skills to do better).

I have kept golden hands from the Mexico WT model and paste in on the Overseas WT with brown dial (my favorite version).

Do not keep in mind the green map, as I could not leave the original Overseas map to create these photos.

You had noticed that the original patrimony hands are longer than those on the Overseas. I do prefer the first lenghts.

What do you think about my "creation"?

Cheers,

Liger

As they say "to each his own" but I actually prefer

the original OS hands. But do like the green tinted crystal on the world map!

Hopefully "to each his own" Alex

The green sea on the dial of the Mexico model is very nice indeed.

I wish you a good WE,

Warm regards,

Liger

Hello Liger.

In my opinion, combination of brown dial with green map is elegant.

Thanks io. Maybe VC will propose a LE like this proposal in the future

Thank you Liger--that made me look at the evolution of the hands on the VC4500v from the OS1. (Also, I was unable to make the intricate Photoshop on the WT...)

It's the first time that I have really looked at the hands on my OS1 and those on the OS3 (2016) -- by the way, the soonest we can get them from the VC Boutique in NYC is September-- Here's the side-by-side of my current and future OS:

Thank You Liger!

OS1 to OS3

The new hands--all 3-- are much more graceful in the OS3 than the OS1. However, I do like the bowed "Vacheron Constantin" better on the OS1 than the straight version on OS3.  I'd like to see the "Vacheron Constantin" label bowed without that awful box around it and "Geneve." Also, I like the numbers 1-60 around the inside bezel as well as the fact that 3 bands come with the OS3.

*Also notice how the much the Watch photography has improved since 1996.wink

Congratulations Bill for your choice

Your new OS3 with brown dial is a Beauty.

The wait is always a pleasure to live with, and September is a good start, just after summer holidays ;-))

Enjoy even more your OS1 till September.

Cheers,

Liger
