Just a question...
03/11/2008 - 00:21

Hello everyone.

Since I am a member of this forum i hae been noticing that some members are really privileged to be so close to Vacheron. This is the case of Doc and, of course, Alex.

I just would love to know if there is anyway for me to become also part of this comunity, because I am a youg man (just 16 years) and I have already decided to study mechanical engineering, and I even considering working with watches.

Besides being Brazilian, I am now living in the UK for studying reasons, and I intend to visit Switzerland just to know the VC workshop, but I also do not know if it is allowed.

If you could tell me if there is any possible way for me to get more easily in touch with VC and you, members of this forum, it would be great, and even if it would be possible for me to visit VC and/or the SIHH next year, who knows...

PS: I how could I get one of these?

Thank you very much

I just would love to know if there is anyway for me to become also part of this comunity Dear Ronaldo, you ARE part of the Vacheronista community because of your interest for watches and VC and you are as well a poster here.

If it would be possible for me to visit VC and/or the SIHH next year: A visit to the manufacture is a project I would like to get together and hopefully you can join us then. I had invitations for SIHH this year but unfortunately not being able to accomodate all interested parties I chose the biggest posters, maybe next year you could join the event?

I how could I get one of these? I guess you are referring to the Geneva Seal booklet, I put them up last week but they all went in a couple of days and have none left (I do have a French version if you're interested). I need to wait to have a new shippment from VC.

Thanks to Alex and VC

Please. I'm not an active member of forum but that's not my fault...

I can't write here because I use Safari. Unfortunately Firefox 3 for Mac OS X is very slowly.

Hi Mariusz that explains why you had apparently disappeard!! Good to
03/11/2008 - 15:04

know you were still with us

Unfortunately when I did ask who wanted these booklets you were supposed to email me and I don't have any left for the moment. I'll see if I can get a new batch and and send them. Watch this space!

I cannot use the Lounge on my new Nokia Communicator either...
03/11/2008 - 17:17

because it uses Safari instead of Firefox. I already consuled my IT dept. about it. They will have a Firefox soft for Nokia later this year so for now I cannot be as active as I want to :-(

Hi Alex,

My booklet was waiting for me when I arrived (from lots of overtime!).

It is a very nice addition to my small library of horology.

Thanks to Vacheron Constantin and of course to you, Alex.

Thank you Alex for the kind effort, and thanks VC for a wonderful book

I just received mine. I loved it. Very informative, excellent design, amazing pictures. I wish next Vacheron Constantin catalogue will be that good. Thanks  Alex and thank you VC.

Thank you Alex, and the booklet is useful not only
03/12/2008 - 14:17

for knowing what's inside my watches, but also for inviting friends, interested in watches, to the wonderful VC world.

As a movement enthusiast myself, I can say this booklet is easily one of the best ones available, when it comes to Geneva Seal. Hopefully, Other language translations are prepared to distribute to local ADs, so many other can appreciate VC passion for finishing.

Thanks Alex, I also received mine!!! (nt)
