Is there such thing as over-winding your Power Reserve automatic VC?

It got me thinking as I was winding my Jubilee 1755 this morning and never met any resistance through the crown, point of no return, right, whether I was not to over-wind it?

I guess there is no problem with the watch and I might already know the answer to my question, but please, fellas with more technical experience and expertise, elaborate on the subject.

Thanks,

Radek

no, there is a disengaging mechanism which prevents over winding this

is why your rootor can freely turn but will no longer wind the watch. Some have actually put this system in manual wind watches so unless you have a power reserve indicator you don't know if your watch is fuully wound or not!
