Three kings...

In the spirit of Ed's recent post containing a photo of his VH Antiqua, thought some folks might enjoy a couple from a quick shoot I did earlier this week:

Three kings...

Three kings...

And just to ensure that it is kosher for THL, here's a photo of a noted Lounger giving a few tips to Mr. Dufour:

Hope you enjoyed!

My goodness that is some collection of independents heart.  Regarding our dear friend Joseph, judging by the look on his face, M. Dufour is obviously paying attention!
Thanks, Dean!

I always listen to Joseph myself, so why wouldn't M. Dufour? Best, Gary

Fun to be able to shoot these 3 together, Alex. Would be fun to add others to the group -- how about a Ferrier tourb? Best, Gary
A Ferrier would look great in your collection :-)

A question

How would you compare and contrast Journe's manual calibre 1304 with this crowd?
In terms of chronometry I have no info but the Journe and Dufour are
06/30/2012 - 14:00
Both inhouse whereas the Kari is based on a Peseux 260 and the Vianney is based on a Lemania but I forget which one. In terms of finish thé Simplicity is in a world of its own. Journe finish is never spectacular as he goes more for function than looks.
Gary, what a trio! Thanks for sharing. You wear them all I take it? NT

If you can't afford to wear them, you can't afford to own them!

Right, Ed? :-) I wear every piece in my collection -- adds to the fun quite a bit! Best, Gary
Mr D can't afford to put a foot wrong!...
