Trademark Infringement?

I was in Hong Kong the last weekend in July and while walking through Kowloon, I saw this store sign for a clothing store.  I Googled "Testantin Italy" but came up with a total of 6 hits, 5 in Chinese and 1 in English.  I'm Chinese-American but unfortunately cannot read Chinese.  The 1 reference in English says this store is acredited by the  Hong Kong  Quality Tourism Services Association as  a reputable retailer, with 2 stores in Kowloon.

Trademark Infringement?

I'm not a lawyer, but is Testantin infringing on VC's name and trademark, especially with the cross included?  Your thoughts? (picture was taken with a camera phone, please excuse the quality)

I don't know up to what point the Maltes Cross can be trademarked by VC apart from anything horologicaly concerned

OK,  I guess when I walked passed the sign I just did a double take because it made me think of VC.  (which had an AD just 2 blocks away)

Actually the cross in the originating post looks more to me like Patek's Calatrava cross but with the ends cut off.

Best regards,

frills to it. The pictured cross kind of reminds me of those found on Harley Davidson bikes!

I guess I've just seen too many "Giorgio Amani", "Hugo BOSSY", multiple first names in front of Valentino and Versace, etc. recently that makes  it conducive to seeing associations when there might not be any.

I was in Bali a few years ago and in the streets you actually had

Prada, Gucci or Ralph Lauren shops selling only counterfeit items!

I don't think it amounts to a Trademark Infringement.

I believe the public would not be confused or misled into believing that the logo or get-up of the signboard is somewhat associated with VC.

However, it is very eye-catching.
