Hi all - I realised I've never done this before, and thought it provided a nice comparison of the three. Hope you enjoy. G

woooo nice! Which one of your Patrimonies gets the most wrist time?
04/25/2014 - 15:13
Platinum all the way...
04/26/2014 - 16:44
I love 3, but being an would this one look as #4?
04/25/2014 - 15:37
It is platinum, but has a sub-seconds and gorgeous grey dial devil But seriously my friend...that is quite a threesome you have there; an amazing, thematic, collection in and of itself! heart BR, Dan
Dan you are evil!
04/25/2014 - 16:01
who? me? couldn't be! ;-) (nt)
04/25/2014 - 16:30
I never tire of seeing this watch...
04/25/2014 - 17:51
....which is probably not a good sign.  crying Nice photo, Dan.  As Alex said, you are evil...but in a good way.wink Best, Robert
You know my weakness!
04/26/2014 - 16:46
I do like it... But how many platinum VCs do you really need! Now the minute repeater, as a CEP, would clearly be a 'need'! G
Very, very, very nice Gary!
04/25/2014 - 17:10
You need a third arm and wrist! Joseph
Thanks JB
04/26/2014 - 16:47
Or.. Maybe your blue dial patrimony!
Re: Thanks JB

I have to keep it now, Gary. I just got the matching cufflinks! smiley Joseph
I love the last shots, in particular
04/25/2014 - 17:50
It is the first time I get to compare the relative thickness of these three.  Nice set! Best, Robert
Yes.... Interesting perspective I thought...
04/26/2014 - 16:48
Thanks for your comment... Best G
Lucky you. All three are wonderful. I think my favourite
04/25/2014 - 19:02
is the Malte QP Chrono followed by the CEP time only Contemporaine. But I would be happy with any of the three. I would love to have a Contemporaine someday because it would give me the chance to complement my PG Traditionelle.  The moonphase on the Malte is enough reason to mortgage ones hoe and family to buy that watch.
Luck had everything to do with it...!

After all, you make your own, right! Platinum fan, I detect, too! I wish you luck! G
Sweet, Gary

I'll join Robert in appreciating the edge shots, which perfectly illustrate the differing thicknesses of these beautiful watches.  A real fiend for white metal, you are cool
Yes... A treat of a threesome... Indeed..

Cheers Dean Gary
A real delight and knowing your taste is so
04/25/2014 - 20:26
refined and elegant--but white metal people already know where we stand--indeed ;0).. A wonderful way to start the day here in rainy California. Best to you  and  all the white metal fans! Tim
A rare great to have elegant and refined in the same sentence,
04/26/2014 - 16:51
... Vaguely pointed in my direction!! Thanks Tim... Hope you are well and the white metal wielding continues to .. Well... Wield! G

Beautiful collection.  I am also a big fan of the white metals.  I hear that White Gold is tricky because its Rhodium plating makes it harder to polish when it gets scratched.  My local AD says that (besides being harder) Platinum and Stainless Steel are also easier to buff given they are not coated.  "If your white gold gets scratched, you kind of just have to live with it." Any thoughts on or experience with that?
VC's current white gold formulation does not need rhodium plating :-)

I'm not sure about when this change was made, probably within the past 5-7 years? BR, Dan
This is an interesting topic in itself...

Hi there. I'm not sure, but think that PP coat all their precious metal watches, and VC does not. Perhaps someone can confirm or deny? In any case, from my personal experience with them both (Pt and WG of both brands) VC cases are buggers and scratch as soon as you look at them... PP's do not nearly as easily... Well - that's been my experience. G
Three of the best at arm's length...

Gary, you certainly know how to surround yourself with beautiful modelswink... Good to hear from you, hopefully everything is going well. Best wishes Tony
Thanks Tony!
04/26/2014 - 16:56
Same to you too. When everything stops going well, you will possibly notice the effects! Here's hopin' no one 'finds out' ! Cheers G
That 81180 EP might be the best dress watch of all time....

the person who sold it to you is a fool for having let it go. :-) Bill

...they might not be wrong on both counts! Let's not tell 'em... G
Now, tell me Gary, isn't this an insanely handsome piece?

With the coolest provenance too...
