Is this a true Vacheron 316L?

The number of the movement is 376972 supposed to be a 316L.
It looks migthy good for a 100 year old watch?
what do you think?
What would it be its price?

It says water resistant to 50M on a case that looks like it would be lucky to withstand more than a splash of water, and those hands (in gold tone no less - fancy schmancy) ! 
Yes, 316L is the name of the stainless alloy...

Most watches that are stainless steel use 316L, except Rolex that uses 904L.
