I would gather its a model from the 50s with a cal 453 but scans would help!

I do know how to get the back off, and don't really want to damage it.....
the late 50s and your watch may not even have a ref number inscribed in the case back. nevertheless is does look like from the 50s with cal 453.

Not really sure what I'm looking for. I'll need to get a valuation for issurance (I'm sure), other than that I'm just enjoying having it. My father left it to me, and it comes from his grandfather who spent considerable time in Switzerland.
It's just come back from a 1/2 visit to Switzerland for some repairs at VC, but didn't really get anything about the watch when it was returned. It definitely keeps much better time now!
