vacheron 6394 dial

hi all have my 6394 and was wondering if it would benifit from a redial ,not sure if it would affect the value of it , im also not sure of the colour of the original dial as i cannot find any online that is close to mine .or is it best to leave as is do collectors prefare untouched , regards chris

Unfortunately I have had only one experience with a vintage Vacheron. However I have enjoyed several experiences with vintage Omega. Original, unrestored dials are most desired. Rarely will they consider the correct factory replacement dial. Never a refinished or repainted dial. IMHO your almost perfect, naturally patinaed dial is most desireable. Nice watch,   IMHO I would be more interested in this watch with the oringinal dial then a retouched dial just to make it look new. The watch is over 50 years old so keep it vintage. The verticle hour markers are to die for.You have a very nice watch just as it is. Wear it in good health.   Best Regards

hi there here is the bracelet it came on also dont know how desirible these , i prefare a leather strap ,not sure if these come original to the watch?

Persnally, and I'm no professional, I love the dial as is. I'd love a classic VC like that. I'm not jealous at all!
