while researching on a watch, i came across this detailed article in japanese on vacheron cal K1072/1 , for the benefit of those interested, this is the translated english version :

i am particularly fascinated by :
1. the maltese cross on the gyromax balance
2. the ruby roller bearings on the oscillating weight

i thank the japanese author for the painstaking effort and i am always very impressed by the meticulousness of japanese collectors.

For the link. The movement is quite something, isn't it? Very artistic and quite amazing. What a piece of work! I agree with your points but overall its a wonderful movement. It looks graceful, elegant and yet robust and strong at the same time...not easy to do. Many thanks, Joseph
