Vacheron Constantin for Cartier - Please Help Identify Timepiece

Hi all,

I would very much appreciate help in identifying this timepiece.  I'm estimating that my grandfather purchased it sometime in the 1920s or 30s.  As you can see, the crystal is damaged but before I have it repaired I first need to learn if this is a VC made for Cartier to retail or some other type of collaboration.  Thank you!

watch dates from the 50s. The double signature shows that the watch was retailed by Cartier. To have the correct reference and year of production you need to have the back opened and give us the case and movement numbers.

Thank you, Alex.  Based on my internet research, I would agree that this watch is likely from the 1940s or 50s.  I'm still unable to find just about ANY information on a collaboration between VC and Cartier from this time period.  I guess I will have to take the watch in to have it opened up to find a bit more information.  I am very anxious to find out just what sort of family heirloom I have.
its not a collaboration with Cartier! It was not rare in the 50s-70s
