Vacheron Constantin galore at the New York Christie's auction on June 11

The Christie's June 11 auction held in New York will have quite a few Vacheron Constantins for hammer and almost something for every budget with a focus on skeleton watches.

Lot 36, Ref 49001 Phidias Chronograph. Not one of my favorite designs but these chronos don't show up very often and could be interesting if you're looking for a discreet bling (whatever that means cheeky) due to a small 35mm case size. Circa 2005 according to Christie's but I would place it in the mnid 90s. Estimate $12,000-18,000

faboulous way to acquire excellent VC's at (dare I say it) bargain prices.

I would love to see a modern intrepretation of Lot 38.

And I cannot believe that Lot 42, 254, 256, and 313 are so within reach.
