Vacheron Constatin 1137 x Frederic Piguet 1185

What are the main changes made by the VC on caliber 1137 (Frederic Piguet 1185)?

Some photos for you....

Someone let me open up the case of his Overseas Chronogrpah and I got to photograph it: The biggest modification that you would notice is the addition of the large date indication. For some reason I was not allowed to remove the movement from the case to get a dial side photo. :-) Bill
Nice to see inside the OS Chrono...thanks, Bill!

Good to see what's under the hood.

Hi Bill, Thanks for the photo. Admittedly I don't follow the technology of newer models, so I have a naïve question. The balance on that movement appears, at least from the angle of your photo, to be rather small. Is that the case, and if so, is it not considered to be a disadvantage? Thanks. Best regards, Tony C.
The small balance isn't really and issue as the smaller it is the less

It is prone to shocks and it has a high beat (compared to the Lemania) of 21 600 VPH so a smaller balance makes sense.
